play never have i ever. you both put up 10 fingers and the goal is to get out the other person by asking things you think they might have done that you know you haven't (its actually a drinking game, but you can play booze free if you want)
for example: never have i ever been skiing.
(you can only ask if you HAVE NOT been skiing.)

if they have they put their finger down. then its their turn to ask you a question. you can make it as X or G rated as you want :)

favorite color, favorite animal, favorite band, and hobbies are some really good questions to start with. And if you really want to bond with them, you could try some of their hobbies with them, and then that opens up a whole other door to learn more things about them.
Mmmm. Ask them what their mofun questions to ask friendsst embarrassing moment was, and then start by asking random questions about their favorites, and compare them to things you like. Such as hobbies! Ask their favorite hobbies, and then chime in with your own.
ask them about a hot topic (twilight, obama, w/e). if they agree with your feelings about it then you can either fawn over it together or bash on it together. if their feelings are different then you can have a debate. idk works for me. good luck :)
