I hope you know where to find the Ethernet drivers by now, easy way to disable the choice of Operating System on start up is to Right click on My computer> Select Properties> On the System Properties window>Select Advance tab> Cldownload drivers dell inspiron e1505ick on the 3rd Settings Button ie. under Start up and Recovery> Uncheck time to display list of Operating system> Click OK ... Restart the system
you can delete the driver for the ethernet driver from dell.com....put in the model and it will tell you which one you need...and the get rid of the boot option of xp or pro..you have to google how to modify the boot ini file...cheers and good luck
For your first question about the network driver of Dell Inspiron e1505, you can download the latest version in the link provided below. That depends if its for LAN or WirelessLAN. Make your selection.

For your 2nd question, you should have installed a fresh copy in the first place so this boot options would not have appeared.

But since it's already done, here's an option you could use.

RIGHT-CLICK on MY COMPUTER (either on Desktop or in the start menu), and choose PROPERTIES. The systems properties will appear.

Click on the ADVANCED tab.

Along the STARTUP and RECOVERY area, click the SETTINGS butdownload drivers dell inspiron e1505ton.

Then click the EDIT button. and replace the content with the texts just below this answer or modify it according to your need setting the OS that you want to DEFAULT (default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partitio… Once done, click OK, click Apply, click OK. If it requires you to restart, make it restart:

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partiti…
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WI… Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect

GOOD LUCK!
Yep, the drive is faulty -replace it with a new one and reload everything.
If you can’t find the right drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you. There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it. Perform a free driver scan at:
