What percentage of the American population voted in the last three Presidential elections?
Is there expected to be any increase or decrease in voting numbers this year?
since there's no bush or clinton,
I think the % will go up this year
there are a lot of american's out there who don't know about what they are voting on, so maybe its not so bad if they don't come and cast their vote!
i think its been 60 something % of the eligable voting population in presidential election year, 30 something when its not a presidential election.
It's a sad thing that the American Public does not know that EVEpercentage american populationRYBODY VOTES whether you turn up to tick off your choice or you sit at home.
Because we have a "two person either/or system", when you don't actually vote ( like a committee person obstaining ) you are voting for the person who gets the Majority of votes.
It goes like this: If you don't vote FOR then you are voting AGAINST and if you don't vote AGAINST then you are voting FOR.
So, when you stay home instead of voting, then you are voting for the person who got the most votes BECAUSE YOU WERE NOT THERE TO VOTE AGAINST HIM/HER
Think about it, it may change your mind.
I have heard that only 25 to 30 % of the eligable voter vopercentage american populationted in the last three presidential elections..
but
i
expect higher turn out this 2008 election for President..maybe as high as 50% voter turn out
but the fraud level will also be the highest ever in any US presidential election.
I'd say about 20% to 35%. Personally I started voting in 1976. Isn't it funny how some blonde bozos still think that one person can "cheat" in one state in an election? I've met and seen some really dumb blondes but some of them really take the cake.
Certainly not 100% and that's not good
DEMOCRACY is NOT a SPECTATOR SPORT!
